Orchestral Performances

Stavros has been playing in orchestras for eight years. She has worked with prestigious conductors including Joanne Falleta of the Buffalo Symphony Orchestra, and Shi-Yeon Sung, assistant conductor Boston Symphony Orchestra.

She has performed standard symphonic works, opera and ballet and has a strong background in new music.

Chamber Music

This past year, Boston harpist Lucia Stavros founded an award-winning duo, Sirene, with flautist Anne Gregory. The duo recently won third place in the International Chamber Music Competition sponsored by the New England Chamber Music Society.

Contemporary Collaborations

Lucia Stavros has a great deal of experience with improvisatory music and contemporary jazz. In October, 2007, Stavros worked with celebrated musician Ran Blake in his production of "Spiral Staircase". As a singer, Stavros has been performing with local jazz musicians in the Boston area.
